Stacking the Odds for Inclusion

Uncommon Minds was delighted to join Amazon Web Services’ inclusivity event—where cloud met compassion, and differences were seen as strengths, not sidelines.

Our ambassador Dr Perpetua Neo joined a thoughtful panel alongside TomoWork and the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, diving into what it means to lead with empathy and embrace all minds—visible or not.

Meanwhile, our young volunteers (and co-founder PT) brought energy, awareness, and handmade charm to the event—distributing lucky clover crochets from Crochet Connectz, a heartfelt, inclusive microbusiness run by a mother-son duo.

This wasn’t just about tech or talks. It was about real people, real inclusion, and a shared belief: that neurodiversity belongs at the table, in the cloud, and in every conversation about the future.

And must we add: their new office, in a space designed from the ground up, puts inclusion first. From prayer and nursing rooms to braille at key touchpoints, every detail reflects the future we’re all working towards—thoughtful, inclusive, and built for belonging.

Thank you, AWS, for helping to build that future—one story, one connection, one conversation at a time.
